Treatment Of Mosquito Bites Allergy

If you have an infection at the site of the bite, your doctor can diagnose watching. If you have contracted a disease from a mosquito bite, its signs and symptoms are usually sufficient for your doctor to diagnose the disease, but a blood sample can sometimes be taken to confirm the diagnosis. For some complications such as meningitis or neurological changes that occur after exposure to mosquitoes, additional tests such as examination of cerebrospinal fluid may be necessary.

There is some evidence that taking 75-150 mg of vitamin B-1 (thiamine) every day in summer may slightly alter the flavor and provide some protection from insect bites. This does not mean, however, has been conclusively demonstrated.
