To prevent dust mite allergies, try encasements dust mite (airtight plastic / polyurethane covers) over pillows, mattresses and box springs. Also remove the carpet and vacuum regularly, when you use a vacuum cleaner filters very efficient.

Treatment may include medications to control the nose / eye and chest symptoms. Immunotherapy may be recommended for people whose symptoms are not adequately controlled to avoid and medicines.
